Battle testing- On Cloud Footwear
I yomped the South Downs Way, wearing a pair of olive on cloud 5 waterproof trainers, 100 miles in 3.5 days, thats quite a fair old lick for an old boy like me 😀 trainers whilst hiking you say … well have you weighed hiking/walking boots ?? exactly ! a nice pair of lightweight trainers give you comfort and ease of use, sacrificing ankle support along the way, is a price you pay, but if you want comfort then On Clouds rock, and these are waterproof as well
These are for the 'Fast & Light' walker. If you’re carrying a 20kg pack, stick to your boots. But if you’re out for a technical day hike and want to feel nimble, the Clouds are king. The first thing you notice is they weigh almost nothing. If you're used to heavy leather boots, these feel like you’ve sprouted wings. Great for those 15-mile days where 'boot fatigue' usually kicks in.
I also wear the On Clouds whilst competing in marathons, they have proven to me time and time again that comfort is king 🤙
