Field testing - Dewalt Trousers
Badger Rating: 5/5
Best for: Muddy trails, stiles, and "on-the-job" walking.
The Deal: Tougher than hiking pants, half the price.
The Dewalt Jefferson Work Trousers are the perfect example of a crosover from “workwear” to outdoor wear, a common site on the trails are well known workwear brands that are up to the job and capable of handling the punishment at a fraction of the price of hipster hiking brands , i am a tradesman myself (plasterer) and these trousers get abused daily, they are manufactured from technical materials 92% Nylon / 8% Elastane something that aligns with outdoor brands , so they make the perfect companion whilst tackling the great outdoors, bending and stretching over styles, fences etc, and being of the tough workwear brand Dewalt, they are known for their build quality
The Dewalt Jefferson work trousers are manufactured from elastene and polyester, which has the four way stretch capabilitiy, a feature found on many outdoor brands, at half the price, they have reinforced cordura knee pockets which can have an additional knee pad placed inside if required, they have a tapered fit which not only stops you looking like a skater boy but is very stylish as well.
All the trousers have reinforced stitching, cordura kneepad pockets because when you take the wrong turn and end up in the brambles, you want the reassurance of strength. Imagine ripping a £100 pound pair of trousers 🙁
They also feature many extra pockets for a variety of items, , and many belt loops because we all come in many different sizes. I personally wear them everday as i have a few pairs, and wore them on my south downs trek , and had no problems at all, From a walker to a Walker i highly recommend them
